21 Day Fix Tips & Tricks

Getting Started with the Fix.....

  • Read the 21 Day Fix meal plan manual that comes with your Challenge Pack from cover to cover.
  • Figure out your Calorie Level... page 4 of your book Video on How I Prep
  • Make a lost of items you already have in the fridge or pantry, go through your spice rack and make notes. You don't want to go out wasting money on stuff you already have. Also make a list of things you can easily prepare ahead of time so you aren't cooking every single day... examples: chicken, green beans, broccoli, dressings, turkey, chopped veggies and fruits. The more prepared you are, the better your success!
  • Buy Fixate, the 101 recipe cookbook by Autumn Calabrese. It will set your mind at ease and give you tons of ideas for meals. Also... Pinterest!!!! Create a board just for Fix approved meals!
  • Make a list of what you will need at the store. Go with a plan so you stay on course!
  • Print out your trackers and charts... I have a few below that will be helpful!!!
  • Don't forget SNACKS! You will have cravings and you will want to cave in... be locked and loaded with healthy snacks and store the "kids stuff" far far away! Better yet, get the kids involved!
  • On a budget? Go here for ideas on saving some $$$$ while shopping for the Fix.
Staying on Track....
  • People love getting creative with how they keep track of their containers. It's three weeks people, you gotta have some fun! I list a few below... be sure to check out the bracelets! Other ideas.... colorful magnets on the fridge to represent the containers, take pictures and Instagram your meals (people who take pictures and share their food are way more inclined to stay on track), or use clothes pins and color them with markers to represent your containers.... clip them on a piece of ribbon attached to a cork board filled with inspiring quotes!!!
  • Want a creative storage idea? I love these Bento Boxes
boxes good for 21 day fix

Friendly Reminders....
  • Take your before and after pictures! You want to make sure you are tracking your progress not only by using a scale and measuring tape, but document it through photos as well. You'll be surprised by what you see. How to Take Pictures
  • Why do you need those pictures? Because you can win $$$$ and everyone who sends in their before/afters gets a 21 Day Fix tshirt... for free! Go here for more info!!!
  • Keeping track of your workouts is JUST as important as keeping track of your food. Don't give into excuses and make it fun. Get the kids involved, get the husband/wife involved, and make it a priority in your day... not a last item on your list. It is 21 days, 3 weeks. Amazing things can happen if you just stay on course!

I feel like there is an endless abundance of materials out there to help you on your 21 Day Fix/Extreme journey... and it can be a bit overwhelming. So here are some of my favorite planning tools to get you rocking and rolling!

This is a great chart for your fridge!
Tip: place it inside a plastic sleeve and use a dry erase marker!

"Erika I get that I have to make better choices, but where do I even start?"
Here ya go!!!!
Keep a little copy in your purse to reference while at the store!

In a pinch? Make a copy of this to tuck in your purse for shopping!

How easy and COOL is this????
Esp love the WATER INTAKE!

What is clean eating?
Here's a starter grocery list for you!

This is my favorite for staying on track... 21 Day Fix bracelets
Put on a bracelet for every container you are allowed for the day...
and take off the bracelet as you use your containers.
It's fun and you can snap photos of your wrist to send to your accountability partners!

"Erika, do I really have to get those shakes with my 21 Day Fix?"
Yes. Yes you do.
Plain and simple, it is the easiest way for you to get in over 70 vitamins and minerals in one meal.
And it will help you make better decisions for the rest of the day.
