Let's dive in shall we???
So what is the Success Trip? Beachbody rewards it's top leaders in the company with a free trip to a fun location every year. You have to earn your way onto the trip, it is not just given to you, so you work hard throughout the year to earn your spot! I signed up last January 2014 for this trip to Cancun, then spent the year earning points so my trip would be completely paid in full!
This was my first Success Trip... and it felt so good to be on a tropical vacation that I EARNED and got to spend with the other Beachbody leaders!
The resort was gorgeous!!!!! Our room was literally right on the ocean, so when you opened the curtains to the floor-to-ceiling windows, it looked like we were floating right on the water!
The trip was designed to reward us for our hard work, but to also serve as a leadership conference... so there were plenty of trainings to attend, as well as LIVE workouts with Autumn Calabrese, Shaun T, and Tony Horton! I went to Tony and Shaun T's workouts and they were so amazing to see live! We spend so much time watching these guys on tv or our dvds... to see their energy in a room was amazing!
There is something pretty spectacular about seeing these people in person, and being in a room full of like-minded people who feed off their energy as well! I had the best time struggling my way through the workouts! lol! But it was so worth it!
Shaun T even gave me a HIGH FIVE for my efforts!
I also got to sit in on some leadership panels and hear about the newest products that are coming out later this year (summer to be exact!!!) I cannot begin the explain how awesome it is to sit in a big room and hear the CEO of your company announce a new product. It is like seeing the preview of a movie you want to see for the first time... seriously remember when the Batman previews came out and you got chills thinking of how amazing it was going to be?
Yeah well that times 5000000000 hehe!!!
So here is the lowdown on the two new products expected this summer...
I am certainly no dancer but that Shaun T program looks pretty fun right?? It makes me want to secretly learn some moves then show up at a club and dance like in Save the Last Dance! hehe! Yeah right!!!
I was talking with some girls about the trip last night and there are a few highlights that we all agreed on....
- It is so empowering to be in a room full of leaders and feed off of their excitement!
- If you are an Emerald, Diamond, coach, Star Diamond, or #1 coach... everyone is super genuine about wanting to share their information and help one another out! There is no me vs you... it is "how can I help you succeed??"
- The workouts are so hard, but everyone is struggling, and that makes it awesome!
- No other company would treat their employees like this and not expect anything in return!
I just wanted to say that if you are on the fence about going to events, stop hesitating! I waited over a year to go to my first event and totally regret it!
You will be shy and nervous, but once you are there and start to mingle, all of that will melt away and you will get absorbed into the amazing world that is Beachbody coaching.
I had so many AH-HA moments at these events, and each time I leave really understanding and reaffirming WHY I became a coach.
Why not YOU?????
I never thought something like this was for me. I thought it took a really special and different person to deserve to go on trips and have these amazing friends. I jumped from opportunity to opportunity, and hoped that one would just stick. But nothing ever did, because I never felt connected to it.
I feel connected to Beachbody and am so grateful that someone reached out and told me I would become a great coach some day. I didn't believe her, and for a year, I put it on the side because I didn't think I would be good. Because I didn't succeed right away.
But success comes in so many shapes and forms, and I started to understand what it meant in my life as I figured out my WHY and my life purpose.
I love being a coach... and think it is crazy that EVERYONE doesn't do this!
